This patient, a 50-year-old woman, came to us seeking treatment for advanced lipedema. She had experienced persistent pain, discomfort, and difficulty finding clothing that fit comfortably—symptoms that impacted her daily life. After thorough evaluation, we discussed options and proceeded with high-volume liposuction to the legs through our Lipedema Surgery. Her journey reflects many of the concerns and hopes we hear from those living with lipedema.

Following her procedure, she quickly noticed relief from the dense nodules and discomfort. The reduction in leg volume made a real difference in her ability to wear clothes that fit well. Although a thigh lift and further skin removal are planned for the future, the initial outcome highlights the benefits achievable with liposuction alone. She has expressed satisfaction with her improved mobility and decreased pain.
